Affordable Cosmetic Dentistry Options

There is a substantial difference between the description of a procedure as being cheap and affordable.

Affordable cosmetic dentistry is not “cheap” but offers exceptional value for money in what it delivers to the patient at the end of the procedure.

Affordable cosmetic dentistry procedures are delivered by a fully trained and experienced Australian Cosmetic dentist in a hygienic and sterile facility with proper backup and post-surgery follow up by your chosen surgeon.

Cheap cosmetic dentistry is performed in overseas ‘clinics’ in less than ideal surrounds by dentists whose qualifications are unknown and without any post-procedure support.

The real cost in these ‘cheap’ procedures is often the many thousands of dollars that has to be spent to make good or rectify faulty or incomplete work done overseas by a poorly trained cosmetic dentist.  Sometimes this remedial cost is many times the initial cost and it can be a very long and protracted process.

In terms of value for money and great results there are a number of less expensive options available, these include
  • Teeth whitening
This procedure is also known as teeth bleaching.

If the only problem with your otherwise healthy teeth is staining causing discolouration of your teeth this procedure can achieve excellent results.

You can achieve excellent results from just one treatment and your cosmetic dentist will advise you on the proper maintenance regime to maintain your sparkling smile.
  • Tooth bonding
This procedure corrects a number of more minor cosmetic issues.  It is used to correct damaged, discoloured or crooked teeth.

The procedure involves the application of a resin, matching your natural tooth colour, to your damaged tooth to cover the condition being treated.

One or more teeth can bonded in a single procedure.

It is a one-step procedure and with proper care will last a very long time.
  • Tooth contouring
Your teeth may have some minor chips and discolouration or some sharp points from normal wear and tear.  Tooth contouring is an ideal solution for removing these slight imperfections.

In this procedure a small amount of enamel is shaved away and then the tooth is refashioned into the new shape using dental bonding techniques.

This process is both formative - a great looking tooth - and protective – the dentin is securely covered.

As always if you are considering cosmetic dental surgery a cosmetic dental surgeon will be able to guide you on the right dental implant for your needs.  You will be advised of your options and the right procedure for your needs.
