Surgical Options

The majority of implant treatments are performed in office at Southside Implant Centre under local anaesthetic with sterile drape kits for hospital like cleanliness.

For the more nervous patient, Dr Baker regularly prescribes oral sedation which sees patients relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Most patients have little to no post operative discomfort.

For larger cases we also work with a number of local Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons for patient convenience under a private hospital setting. Some procedures are more suited to a general anaesthetic, and this option is available to nervous patients who would rather be asleep.
